It is a great interface as long as you keep an individual 2.0 or 3.0 USB port on your machine to run it into and keep a lot of CPU on hand.

Like I said I bought this originally for the extra hardware inputs and my own familiarity with the driver program interface of the FTU and FTU 8R, which allows 8 software return channels per pair of hardware outputs.

Never had any problems with device recognition or driver installation on any of my Windows 10 Laptops. I have never had the least bit of difficulty driving this in Windows 10. Those people need to reinstall their Windows or something. Lot of complaints about this being unusable in Windows 10. EVERY interface will give a BSOD in Windows when pushed thru USB alongside cameras in a hub, and with the CPU maxed out too much. Don't be snookered by interfaces with fewer inputs and similar design flaws. You should be able to find one for 200 USD in 2018. The bang for buck value of this thing is unbeatable. I originally bought it so I could add a 3rd or 4th instrument anytime I felt like it. This in particular adds a lot of swagger to my miniature studio. I just discovered before I bought it that it has the very same GUI or Driver control panel and they are both now not receiving any further updates. I picked this up as vintage gear in 2018 after using its little sister the Fast Track Ultra for the last 8 years.
